Hi All,

Following up from earlier email, a few pictures and a short video attached/linked.  Other video, which won't be published, confirms the need for a decent helmsman - the guy driving this boat (the towed boat, not the towing boat - Stu was fine!) really should get a desk job or at least something nowhere near a tiller!

Note that the boat comes up onto all foils relatively smoothly then drops off again.  This is as expected as the front foils lift first giving some pitch up attitude to the boat which increases the AoA of both main foils and stabilisers.  As the boat levels out, the reduction in AoA reduces lift enough for the boat to drop back down, quite gently, to the water.  Although this is an issue with a constant speed tow, as we had on Sunday, it should not be a problem with the constant(ish) load tow we expect from a kite - as we get out of the water, the drag will reduce and hence speed will increase, before the boat levels out in pitch, in which case the lower AoA once levelled out will still be sufficient to fly the boat.  Hopefully this will be demonstrated soon!
