SS kite on Nacra in 3 knots...not a good idea....

Hi All,

Forecast was good for Sunday.  10-15knots.  It was blowing about that when we arrived at the beach - expectations high.  Took a while to set up, including retrimming the main boards for greater lift - for lower speed take off and (slightly) higher cruising height.  But we got the worst of the wind when we went out...launched easily.  Amazing how that SS flies.  But didn't get far before we had so little wind that even the 16SS went in the water....not good.  The good news is that it is easily recovered from the water - at least if you're in shallow water!  There will need to be a recovery line on a wing tip for deep water drenchings.

Back to remote control system development for a bit now....
